Port Terminals
Barranquilla's port zone has a series of port terminals located in the western bank of the Magdalena River. It´s between Laureano Gómez bridge and the mouth of the Magdalena River, at a length of 22 miles, which allow loading and unloading of goods.

The port of Barranquilla is part of one of the five port areas of the Caribbean (Guajira, Santa Marta, Barranquilla, Cartagena and Coveñas), which together mobilize 90% of foreign trade of Colombia. It's the main port in the Caribbean Coast that manages general cargo and bulk. In 2014 the port traffic reached 9.881.676 tons moved .
